NOURISHMENT

Whether you’re a 5-star chef or heating up mac and cheese in the microwave is cooking to you, I can teach you to feed yourself, both your body and your spirit. As a health coach, I look at the big picture of your life to find sustainable practices that will support you in the long-term, not quick fixes that aren’t realistic for you.

MOVEMENT

What if movement could feel as nourishing to the body as rest? I’m here to tell you that it CAN. Qoya Inspired Movement is based on the idea that through movement, we remember. We remember our essence is wise, wild and free. There’s no way to do it wrong, and the way you’re doing it right is that it FEELS GOOD.

REST

Yoga Nidra (aka. the “super nap”) is a meditation practice that leaves you feeling more rested in as little as 10 minutes a day. More than just chilling out, your mind is guided to move into a deep state of conscious awareness sleep. It guides you into the deepest point of your sleep cycle for rest, release, and gentle healing.

I’m Laurie Gosselin.

In 2015, I received my spirit name, Red Medicine Thunderbird Woman in a naming ceremony on the land of my ancestors, the indigenous people of Canada. My responsibility in receiving this name is to unlock its meaning and share its teachings and wisdom like a sacred assignment.

To me, Red Medicine encompasses all feminine healing practices that ultimately support feminine leadership. Its foundation is the medicine bundle of our most essential needs: nourishment from food and movement and rest for our bodies, minds, and spirits.

There’s a limit to what women can accomplish when they’re exhausted. Whatever ways you’re called to lead in this life, my classes will teach you how to easily and simply nourish yourself so that you have the energy to show up for your life, feeling the vibrant radiance that is your birthright.

  • Qoya Inspired Movement is based on the idea that through movement, we remember. We remember our essence is wise, wild and free. We embody wise, wild and free through yoga, dance, and sensual movement and practice following the sensation in our bodies as our guide. There’s no way to do Qoya wrong, and the way you know you’re doing it right is when it feels good to move.

  • Nutrition doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive to be effective. I’ll teach you how to prepare whole, nutrient dense foods that will give your body abundant energy, treat and prevent illness, and help you lead a long, healthy life without spending a fortune or going to culinary school.

  • Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice that brings you into a state of deep relaxation and rest. It’s an incredible supplement to sleep, helps you sleep better and more deeply, and is also fantastic if you struggle with anxiety. Use super naps as your superpower so you can show up for your life well-rested.

  • While my group classes will give you the tools, support, and community you need to create change in your life, my 1:1 Coaching & Mentorship will give you a more individualized plan that is created to support your specific health needs and the circumstances of your life (i.e. living alone versus feeding three children).

Forget overly complicated routines with a million steps. Red Medicine focuses on the few essential practices your body actually needs to maintain vibrant health. None of them take a lot of time or expense. All of them will help your body maintain the bright, energized feeling that is your birthright.

The result is wholeness.

From a place of deep nourishment, you can lead and love while feeling grounded and radiant, not exhausted or perpetually burned out. You can feel truly at home in your body and use its wisdom as your navigation system in life.
